Testimonial: The dock works great!!! Within one day I was getting comments from the marina staff that life was so much better with the dock. No more people falling in the lake getting in and out of the kayaks. If you have anyone inquiring about it tell them I said well worth the money.

Marinas are joining the movement to provide safe access to more people! Marinas are providing new amenities and expanding their markets offering easy, safe access to the water for paddlers.
Pineland Marina (Above) recently installed a Kay-aKcess kayak dock at its Pine Island location in Bokeelia, FL. At the fore front of the marina industry, they were looking to expand the already extensive amenities they offered to their client base and to grow their market by welcoming the multitude of paddlers- canoeists, kayakers and stand up paddle boarders to their prime location on the Great Calusa Blue way Paddling Trail.

Kay-aKcess is compliant with the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design. Available in a number of sizes from small to large- starting with a12’ x 18’ model, it can be designed with multiple slips. It is comprised of floating dock sections that have a 7" height above the water, one inch draft and a total of 8” in thickness. It is important with kayak docks that the dock does not have a height above the water more than 8”- as it makes it more difficult to exit the kayak. The 12’ x 18’ model allows 3 or more kayaks to be launched simultaneously.
Kay-aKcess is a floating kayak/canoe launch/dock that provides safe, easy, stable access to and from the water. In combination with the wheelchair transfer platform, overhead and side assist bars, and Safe-Launch adjustable platform, persons with disabilities can now launch their kayaks and canoes safely; WITHOUT the assistance of others-which is truly empowering.
